What is Alpha?
The Alpha course provides a fun, relaxed but informative introduction to the Christian faith. Each evening begins with a meal, followed by a talk on an aspect of Christianity and then a discussion based on what has been said. Alpha is for people who have never investigated the Christian faith before and for those who used to believe. It is an opportunity to investigate, to ask questions and to meet new people.
What's involved?
The Alpha course consists of a series of talks looking at topics such as 'Who is Jesus?' and 'Why did he die?' After each talk we divide into small groups for a time of discussion.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone, especially: - Those wanting to investigate Christianity - New Christians - Newcomers to the church - Those who want to brush up on the basics.
What will it cost?
There is no charge for the Alpha course.
