The Bible instructs everyone to be baptised in water as soon as possible after they become a Christian. This is done as an acknowledgement or response of obedience to Jesus for all that He has done for us. Being baptised does not make someone a Christian but is a sign that they already are.
At Grace Church we therefore do not baptise babies (see section on baby dedications) and only baptise people who are old enough to understand the Christian message, and have chosen to follow Jesus for the rest of their lives.
Baptism meetings are held regularly during the year and take place during our normal Sunday meetings. We use a large pool of water for our baptisms and those being baptised are completely immersed. Baptisms are always a time of great joy and blessing for those being baptised and for the Church as we celebrate the new Christian life being recognised at the baptism.
If you would like to be baptised please complete the form below or talk to your Life Group leaders or someone at the information desk on a Sunday.
