Safeguarding
It is very important to us that every young person who is part of any Xtreme event is not only kept safe but that they also feel safe in all that they do. To help us achieve this we have taken the following steps:
- All members of the Xtreme youth leaders team are members of Grace Church.
- All members of the Xtreme youth leaders team have an enhanced CRB discloser.
- We operate a comprehensive child protection policy.
- We hold child protection training that all our team attend.
- Grace Church has a qualified and competent Child Protection Co-ordinator.
- We work closely with the CCPAS (Churches Child Protection Advisory Service).
- All young people attending any Xtreme event will be asked to complete a parental consent form (copy below).
Where we meet
Most Xtreme events are held in The Grace Centre on Terminus Road in Chichester. This is our main church building and where we meet for most church events.
You can find a map and directions to The Grace Centre on the finding us page of this website.
Connect groups meet in the homes of some of the Xtreme youth leaders. We will give you their address when your son/daughter joins a connect group.
Occasionally we may also hold an event elsewhere (for example a bowling night). Whenever we do this we will inform you and ask you to complete a permission form for this.
