The Xtreme Youth Team are:

Chris Kimbangi

Chris is the most enthusiastic member of the team! He is passionate about life and loves to get involved in everything, especially if it is competitive and he is winning, hence the reason he supports Manchester united! He became a Christian when he was 17 and soon after spent a year in Brazil working with children in the Shanty towns, teaching them to read and write. His first language was French, although he can’t speak any now!

Catherine Kimbangi

Catherine is a secondary school dance teacher who loves her job! In her spare time she loves buying shoes, designing and making jewellery, trampolining and running. At the age of 8 she became a Christian after an argument with her brother over the seesaw in the back garden, it’s a long story! Growing up Catherine went to 5 different schools in 4 different places around the country!

Ali Blair-Fish

Ali likes lots of things to do with the letter M; Meat, Music, Manchester United, and Meat. Despite being the oldest member of the team, he is frequently mistaken for a teenager. He has never been beaten at Manchester United Monopoly.

Mel Hall

Mel is a crazy, loud primary school teacher who spends her day singing, playing games and covered in paint. She loves travelling to other countries and learning languages. She grew up in a lovely Christian family and loves being involved with the youth work. She met her husband at Bishop Luffa and they have been together since they were 15.

Neil Hall

This is Neil, our mini youth leader! He is a primary school teacher because that’s the only job that makes him feel tall! He is a bit of a sporty boy and loves football, tennis and cycling but is a bit accident-prone and has broken several bones over the years, especially his wrist! He used to be jockey!

Joe Leach

If Joe could choose which period in history and where he had been born, it would undoubtedly have been in the Roman period and in Rome as a Roman soldier. As well as having a great admiration of all that the Romans achieved, Joe is big football follower (and therefore constantly grieved by the general lack of football appreciation within Xtreme) and a great lover of all things LOUD!

Liz Leach

Liz loves sweets. I.e. if you have sweets, you have to share them with her... but there is no guarantee that she will share hers. She also LOVES apple crumble and any pudding that goes with custard. Liz feels a need to write lists for everything and is usually humming/singing under her breath. her husband would describe her as the most hilarious person he has ever met.

Jon "Bobbins" Robbins

Everyone knows Jon as ‘Bobbins’. He’s a teacher but don’t worry Jon Teaches PE so it’s cool. He enjoys every sport under the sun and thinks he is good at them all, but let’s face it he isn’t. He massively enjoys being a part of the Xtreme and loves Friday nights to him they are the highlight of the week. It has been said that Bobbin’s eyebrows glow in the dark! It is yet to be tested!

Becky Robbins

Becky has recently finished a degree in musical theatre dancing, singing & acting her way through 3yrs of university. She became a Christian when she was 4 at Stoneleigh and has loved being part of a church family and getting to know God ever since. She massively enjoys being part of the Xtreme team and getting involved with all the events, fun and games! In her spare time, she loves to try out new recipes, the odd bit of textiles and generally creative things! In the future Becky hopes to have lots of children but shhh don't tell Jon!
